In the center of the town lies a 64 room palaces.On the saddest morning of January 2006 nepal's maoist Rebels lauched attacts in Tansen wint no apparent reasons.many Historical building including the Tansen palace was destroyed many buildings which were destroyed by the maoist.On in the process of Historic Recontriuction nepali's Maoists will live forever with sorrows in their heart for attemting to destroy a part of the beauty and history of nepal.
